Arrested Development Show Summary
The famous American TV sitcom (Fox Broadcasting Company), Arrested Development has been created by Mitchell Hurwitz. The show is all about the Bluths, who were previously very rich, and are a routinely dysfunctional form of a family. The whole presentation of the series has been done in a pseudo documentary way with camera held in hand, narratives, photos from archives and past shot footage.
The narrator (unaccredited) and the executive producer of the show is Ron Howard. The story has been set in Balboa Island and Newport Beach in California but series itself has been shot in and around Marina del Rey and Culver City.
In all, the series spanned three seasons which were broadcasted from 2003 to 2006 covering around 53 episodes.

The head of the Bluth family is George Bluth Sr. who is the ex - CEO and founder of the Bluth Company which deals with building and selling mini - mansion and other various allied services. He is detained for cheating his investors and laundering the company’s cash for his personal use by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Subsequently, Lucille, his wife, takes over as the CEO and crowns her youngest son, Buster as the new president of the company. Since he proves incapable of this responsibility, the family now looks upon the middle son, Michael, who is also the twin of Lindsay; the only daughter of Bluth’s and Michael is made in charge of the company. In order to bind up his family, Michael persuades his sister’s family and his son to shift into with Bluths at their model home.
This cult TV show, which premiered on 2nd November, 2003 has won the Emmys six times, a Golden Globe Award, and has featured on the list of Time Magazine’s 100 Greatest Shows of All Time.
The series basically puts up a spotlight on the strains that occur within the Bluth family’s relationships as they face financial crisis. Every episode is a tortuous mixture of sibling jealousy, unsettled oedipal clashes, gap in communication, teenage worries, untruthfulness, social status worries, egoism, self - respect issues, etc .
On 10th February, 2006 the show ended with its third season, with a special two - hour, season finale.
A motion picture, Arrested Development Tv Show is also in the making, with possible release in 2010. Most of the stars of the series would be working their characters on the film as well.
